Yu Ting looked at the thick textbook in front of her and heaved a deep sigh. Both she and Lu Nanchen were mathematics teachers, but when Lu Nanchen substituted for her class, there wasn't any mid-term exam. But now that it was her turn, there was.
She was really idle!
Outraged, Yu Ting picked up a pen and started circling and highlighting on the page, beginning to take notes, her lips slightly moving as she recited the formulas and theorems to herself.
She was trying to familiarize herself with them.
She continued reading, completing the examples and their solutions, until she came to the exercise questions at the end.
Time to put theory into practice.
Yu Ting moved the textbook to one side and began to copy down the questions on the paper, before calculating the solutions in the empty space beneath.
Lu Nanchen sat quietly nearby, a book on the table before him synchronized with what Yu Ting was studying, along with a book given by Zuo Fugui.
