The basic concept was that the production team would invite four mentors to listen to the dream chasers tell their stories on stage, then the mentors would express their opinions, followed by a vote involving the audience.
Out of 400 votes, advancing to the next stage would require at least 250 votes. Otherwise, it would be considered a failure.
Each episode would feature five people, and after ten episodes, following a series of eliminations, the final ten remaining would compete for the grand prize. The first place would receive a 2 million yuan dream fund sponsored by the show, followed by 1.5 million for second place, 1 million for third place, and 800,000 for the rest.
The show also agreed to pay each of the four mentors an additional 1 million yuan invitation fee.
They approached Yu Ting with the proposal, hoping she might consider it.
After all, 1 million yuan might be trivial to her, possibly just the cost of a meal.
