Yu Ting was dorm-bound right after her first afternoon class, whereas Lu Nanchen was not so lucky. He had to continue to another class for a different major. Once in the class, he did as he usually did −− waiting for the class rep to take attendance and sign after which he opened the PowerPoint to prepare for the lecture.
All seats were filled. The students were engaged in lively discussions.
Everything seemed ordinary, except that the chatter was unusually loud. Apparently, there was some fresh gossip.
Lu Nanchen didn't pay attention to these, nor did he understand them. He simply carried on with his lecturing routine, brows relaxed as he pulled up the relevant PowerPoint from his USB based on the teaching progress. Then, he waited for the class bell.
The bell rang, and class began on time.
The bell rang again, and class ended on time.
His next lecture was scheduled. He stood in the classroom, not leaving.
