"Who am I?, well that question ought to have been answered by now. I'm a non- living being, AKA, 'A GHOST'. I'm a ghost, believe it or not, I've been a ghost for about two months now. I don't know if it's been more than that, but I certainly remember being a ghost since two months ago."
FLASHBACK!...
"Where am I?" I said looking around
I'm definitely not at home. Wait a minute,.. Where is Home?. Maybe I'll ask the woman over there to at least tell me where this is."
"Uhm!, Excuse me ma'am. please can you tell me where this is?" I asked
"Uh, ma'am. Excuse me!. Can't you hear me, madam
POM!.. POM!.. A honk sounded interrupting me. Turning around, I saw it was a public bus. Turning back towards the woman, I saw that she was..gone?
"How rude!." I exclaimed
"How can she just leave me standing without answering, is she deaf?." I asked no one in particular
"Maybe so, but even if she was deaf, she would have at least seen me right?." Going on, I asked some more persons but neither did they see me nor answer me.
BACK TO PRESENT...
Ever since that day, I've been wandering around Greenville, which I later found out was the name of this city. Though I've met some fellow ghosts like, Grandpa Nicholas, Aunty Mildred and even little Sheila. They have all been like family to me, they thought me how to navigate this ghost thingy. I recently learned some new tricks like how to lift things without touching them and how to teleport to another place as long as you have an idea how the place looks like, you can arrive there in seconds. It's been great really but sometimes I wonder if I have a family out there and if they are aware that I'm a ghost or I'm no longer coming back to them."
"June!, June!." Someone shouted bringing me out of my thoughts.
"Yes, Sheila. Is anything wrong?" I asked
"Nothing really, it seemed like you were spacing out again that's why I called your name." She explained
"Oh, sorry about that, I was just thinking about my family. if I even have one."
"No, no. Stop thinking about that. Even if you can't remember your real family, you have us, Grandpa Nicholas, Aunty Mildred and me pretty little sheila." She said the last part while doing a hair flip.
"You're soo cute Sheila." I said chuckling
"I know I am." She agreed. "Anyways,Aunt Mildred said to tell you tomorrow's Halloween and she'll be going away for sometime, so as not to look for her."
"Oh, okay. I'll really miss her." I said
" Me too. But on the bright side, tomorrow's Halloween!!" She exclaimed happily.
"I'll get to scare people, possess animals and dress up. She said skipping around.
"Oh no,no,no young lady, you aren't doing any of those things you mentioned earlier, well except for the dressing up part but the rest nuh-uh." I scolded.
"But Why!" She questioned
"Because, aunt Mildred said no possessing of Humans, Animals,Toys and dolls and most importantly, no scaring of anyone even ghosts." I finished.
Bu- But Aunt Mildred won't be there and how will she know I did all that, you won't tell her will you?" She asked
"Maybe, Maybe not. It all depends on my mood." I said playfully.
"You won't tell her." She said, her face brightening with joy.
"Nope, but on one condition.
"Ok. tell me, I'm all ears."
"Are you sure you want to hear this?" I asked dramatically.
"Yup."
"Okay then, I'll have to go with you."
"Oh, come on!." She groaned. "Why would you want to come with me, you know I won't do anything wrong."
"Nope, I know you Sheila. I am coming with you or you are not going and I'll report you to grandpa Nicholas and you know what he can do right?"
"Ok fine, you can come with." she accepted defeatedly.
"Good."
