On a stormy day Inside a small peaceful village, near the village center a woman could be heard yelling in pain as she gave birth.
" AAAHHHH I CANT DO IT!" The woman yelled in pain and agony as a man was tightly holding her hand and screaming words off encouragement " you can do it Lilly just take deep breaths like we practiced and we ca..".
The man didn't get the chance to finish as his wife's eyes bore at him with anger and venom not wanting him to finish the sentence for the tenth time already.
Lily who was in no mood to mess around pointed towards the door. The man looked shocked as he couldn't believe his wife was kicking him out the room.
He quickly looked towards the village doctor for help but was only left with disappointment as she was shaking her head not wanting to be the next target of Lilly's rage.
The man with no other choice hung his head low and walked out the room. Thirty minutes passed since the man left the room and all he could do in that time was pace back and forth through the hallway trying to distract himself from his wife's yelling. The heavy rain hitting the window gave him peace of mind reminding him of the fond memories of him and lilly. He suddenly stopped pacing, getting pulled out of his train of thought by the noticeable lack of yelling from his wife who was now as quiet as a mouse.
The man froze in place not moving and inch, his heart rate shot up as everything went silent.
" what's happening in there why is it so silent" terrifying thoughts flashed through the man's mind replacing the calm and peaceful memories the rain brought, as his body finally moved. His hand reached for the door handle ready to open it but suddenly stopped as he heard something like a…
"WWWAAAAA"
The man stood there his hand still hovering close to the door handle, his mind was blank and before he new it tears wore falling from his face.
The man chuckled to himself "ha look at me crying just because he started crying" he said trying to calm himself, but he didn't have the chance to completely calm down as Lilly called his name.
As he opened the door he felt like something was off but not in a bad way but instead in a good way. As that thought entered his mind it was quickly pushed to the back as his eyes locked on to what his wife was holding in her arms.
Lilly who was looking at the baby shortly looked at her husband " what are you doing standing there for aric come and see your son he'll be so happy to see you".
As aric started to move toward the bed he took in his wife's features.
Her silk like long black hair was a mess some of it covering her face, her skin was paler losing its olive color, her body looked weak and tired and was on the verge of collapse. Even though Lilly looked like she was ready to collapse her rwby eyes shined giving aric a since of peace and happiness.
As Aric sat on the bed near his wife he looked at the doctor eyes brimming with happiness and gratitude for her help " thank you doctor Nadia for all your help I will never forget this I should have never doubted you".
Nadia looked at the young couple and smiled "there is no need for that. Just helping this village grow is enough for me and besides first parents always makes mistakes" she said while walking towards the door.
"Your baby is healthy but your wife needs a few weeks to get back into shape so the baby and Lilly will stay here" she said while closing the door behind her leaving the new parents to talk.
Aric looked at his son and was surprised by his appearance as he was a perfect mix between the two. He had Lilly's black hair and my blue eyes.
"Did you pick the name yet for baby or should I jus do it for you" Lilly asked while playing with aric chestnut hair
Aric looked down for a second thinking of all the names he had chosen to give the baby but froze when a name came to his mind.
Aric moved closer to Lilly and the baby allowing her to rest her head on his shoulder while also getting closer to the baby.
" as of this moment you will be known as ren so carry that name with pride" Rin looked at his dad for a few seconds and fell asleep not caring much of what he was talking about.
When Aric looked at his wife to make sure she was listening he found her fast asleep just like the baby .
After placing rin and Lilly on the bed to rest he noticed that feeling of something good happening never completely went away he just couldn't get over it.
As Aric thought about what it was he walked towards the window and finally noticed that the rain had completely stopped out of nowhere leaving puddles and a bright sun above the clouds.
The light from the sun came through the window bathing the room in warmth and light. Aric who had turned to look at his family started walking toward them " it looks like even the gods are happy for us". He said while getting in the bed
Aric felt tired the moment he touched the bed "today has Been a long day" Before Aric eyes shut he whispered one more piece of encouragement "keep pushing forward rin be brave" with those words said Aric eyes shut.
