"Indeed worthy of a student from Jia Nan Academy, a 1 Star Dou King can actually hold out for over a dozen rounds against two 1 Star Dou Emperors."
The old man glanced at the other two battlefields, feeling somewhat surprised.
After killing them, he couldn't stay in the Black-Corner Region anymore.
Yan Hao was the second one to be knocked into the air.
After falling to the ground, he flipped over and picked up the hammer beside him, swinging it forcefully at the middle-aged man.
The air emitted a sharp whistle.
Vines intercepted in front of the opponent, the hammer denting them but still not breaking through.
The middle-aged man waved his hand, and the vines wrapped around the hammer, throwing it into the distance.
"Senior Brother Yan, Senior Brother Lin, are you both okay?"
Forcing back her opponent with a sword strike, Han Yue landed on the ground, anxiously checking on the two.
Her gaze swept over them, eyes trembling slightly.
The ground around Lin Xiu Ya had already sunken, revealing a humanoid pit. Both his bones and Dou Qi seemed to be affected, making it impossible for him to break free for a while.
Yan Hao was covered in blood, his robes torn and tattered, his skin marked with streaks of blood, some areas even torn open.
"Han Yue, Lin Xiu Ya and I might not make it out of here."
Yan Hao's tone was gentle, as exertion would aggravate his wounds. "You should go, don't mind us. Deliver what Lin Xiu needs to him. That way, neither Lin nor I will have died in vain."
Han Yue's eyes reddened.
Her condition was slightly better than the two, but she could barely keep herself together, let alone take care of them.
"Today, no one is leaving!"
The old man looked down at the three of them, as if a deity about to judge their lives.
Whoosh!
At this moment, a sharp whistle sounded, the kind that only occurs when the wind is torn apart swiftly.
A middle-aged man vibrated his wings of Dou Qi, moving his body to the side.
The next moment.
A dark shadow flashed past his previous position.
A huge gust of wind blew, causing the middle-aged man's hair to dance, his clothes tightly pressed against his body by the wind.
"What is that?"
The three of them tensed, focusing their gaze.
The shadow crashed into the ground with a loud bang, several trees breaking in response.
In the center of a three to four-meter-wide crater stood a gigantic hammer.
"Isn't that the hammer I threw just now?"
The middle-aged man controlling the vines was momentarily stunned, wondering how it had flown back on its own.
The other middle-aged man stared at the crater, a bead of sweat sliding down his temple.
If he hadn't dodged, he would probably have been smashed to pieces by that force.
"Who?!"
The old man roared angrily, his Dou Qi surging as his eyes widened, scanning the surroundings.
He didn't sense the presence of anyone else, so it couldn't be an elder from Jia Nan Academy.
On the ground, Han Yue and the others were a bit dazed.
"Has the elder arrived?" Han Yue asked.
Yan Hao shook his head, not entirely sure, as he hadn't seen anyone nearby.
Swoosh!
Suddenly, a faint sound gradually became clearer.
A black dot appeared in the sky, moving at an extremely fast speed towards them.
When the old man snapped out of it, the figure of the black shadow had become clear—it was a young man.
"A student?"
He hesitated for a moment, his mouth downturned. "Another one seeking death."
"Brother Hao, how could you randomly throw such a huge hammer? What if you damage the flowers and plants? What will we do then?"
A familiar voice, tinged with a hint of laughter, spread across the forest.
Yan Hao, Han Yue, and the others' spirits lifted, their eyes brightening with hope.
"Lin Xiu!"
"Lin Xiu is here!"
They looked up into the sky, where a young figure emerged, faint thunderlight lingering beneath his feet.
"Lin Xiu, have you finished your seclusion?" Yan Hao smiled, feeling relieved, as if the pain on his body had disappeared.
"Yes, I heard you were in trouble, so I came to find you immediately. Luckily, I'm not too late," Lin Xiu replied, smiling faintly at them.
"You? Lin Xiu, did you come alone? Didn't the elder come with you?" Han Yue's smile froze on her face.
These three are all Dou Emperors, and that old man is even a 4-Star Dou Emperor.
"Senior Sister, with just these three guys, there's no need for the elder. I can handle it alone."
Lin Xiu said lightly.
"Such arrogance! Kid, I recognize you. You're the one who killed Fan Lao that day."
The old man, who had been observing Lin Xiu, suddenly remembered him from the thunderlight beneath his feet.
"That's right, old man. By ending you now, you can at least keep your corpse intact."
Lin Xiu looked at him with a serious expression.
The two middle-aged men beside him, upon learning that Fan Lao had died at Lin Xiu's hands, showed signs of hesitation.
"Hmph, just a Dou King, yet you dare to boast. The Medicine Emperor said that Fan Lao's death was merely due to your use of the Fallen Heart Flame to restrain him."
The old man sneered coldly. "Out here in the wilderness, you don't have a Heavenly Flame to borrow."
His gaze swept over the two middle-aged men as he continued, "The Medicine Emperor has issued a pursuit order. Your head is worth three Sixth Grade Pills. Originally, while you were at the Academy, we didn't have much chance, but now, things are different."
"Is that so? It seems Han Feng really hates me."
Touching his neck, Lin Xiu was somewhat surprised. Three Sixth Grade Pills weren't a small sum of money.
Han Feng was only a Sixth Grade Alchemist himself. Crafting three Sixth Grade Pills would put considerable pressure on him.
The two middle-aged men, reminded by the old man, seemed to recall this fact. The hesitation in their eyes faded away, replaced by intense greed.
"Let's attack together!"
The old man's voice was low, and as soon as his words fell, the two middle-aged men rushed out first.
Below, Yan Hao and Han Yue wore worried expressions.
Just two months ago, Lin Xiu was only a Dou King. After being in seclusion for so long, he probably only broke through one realm. Could he handle three Dou Emperors all at once?
Han Yue tightened the sword in her hand, ready to step forward and help at any moment.
One of the middle-aged men reached Lin Xiu first, as if he saw a Sixth Grade Pill beckoning to him. A smile he couldn't contain spread across his face.
He threw a punch, tearing through the air with Dou Qi.
The next moment.
The man froze for a second. "Afterimage?!"
The punch missed, and his body staggered in mid-air.
"Crazy Thunder Fury!"
Lin Xiu appeared silently behind him, his tightly clenched right fist enveloped in flames and lightning, smashing down towards the man's back.
Time seemed to pause for a second.
The man's body collided with Lin Xiu's fist, and the Dou Qi Armor he hurriedly erected almost instantly turned into a burst of light, scattering in the air.
He fell like a shooting star, rapidly descending towards the ground.
Boom!
Yan Hao felt the ground shake beneath his feet, accompanied by a loud rumble as a large cloud of dust mixed with blood mist rose up ahead.
"One move to defeat a Dou Emperor? Is this Lin Xiu's current strength?" He was stunned.
Han Yue was also somewhat dumbfounded.
But what came next was the old man's horrified cry, which left Yan Hao and the others feeling utterly bewildered.
"Dou Emperor? You're not a Dou King! You're a Dou Emperor!!"
At the moment Lin Xiu struck, the old man keenly felt the aura bursting out from him.
Majestic, profound!
It was worlds apart from a Dou King!
"Dou Emperor? Lin Xiu has broken through to Dou Emperor? Was he originally in seclusion to break through to Dou Emperor?"
Yan Hao was dumbfounded.
Who plays like this?
We've barely broken through to Dou King, and you, kid, have just leaped a major realm ahead of us?
Without hesitation, the other middle-aged man turned and fled into the distance.
"Compared to the Three Thousand Lightning Movements in speed, do you think you're a Dou Ancestor?"
Lin Xiu's figure flashed, throwing a punch that directly set off a burst of bloody fireworks.
