Spheris felt himself tearing through the air for what seemed to be an eternity. Wind deafening his ears as finally, his body came crashing down to the soft, white sand below, only making a muffled poof sound as it pillowed his fall.
But he felt a little dazzled, his eyes were foggy from the strike, and raising his head to the sight before him, he finally got a good look at what had attacked him.
The creature resembled a bear, but it had the same color of the sands and was twice the size of the largest kind. It had a monstrous face with rows of very sharp deadly teeth. A fur of mesmerizing white and icy blue envelopes its form, each strand ending with frost-kissed blades.
With the mane that framed its menacing face, Spheris wasn't sure if the beast resembled a lion more than it did a bear.
