Hustling through the corridor, Smallbutter's small legs carried him at a frantic, determined pace. He darted his eyes around for the Lord of the Academy, but it seemed Daligarth had somehow disappeared already.
The corridors were now filled with Students walking to and fro, their chatter filling everywhere in waves of noise that quickly began to irritate him.
He wove between legs, black trousers, and the occasional dresses swishing past his face, his diminutive stature making his journey one of constant dodging.
But as he searched for Daligarth, the crowd and their noises became too distracting for him to bear.
"End this turbulence at once!" Smallbutter's voice rose over the din, causing everyone to turn and look at him, some noticing him for the first time.
His frustration mounted. "Proceed to your designated courses with all due haste! There are illustrious lessons waiting to fill your cranial cavities with wisdom. Delay not!"
