The beautiful town of Sperton. The imposing Fifth Wing bastion and the oasis of tranquility nestled within it; a courtyard.
This courtyard was Nero's favorite spot. At its center stood a majestic tree with a broad canopy that had clusters of delicate pink flowers adorning its leaves, gently drifting down like soft, fragrant snowflakes.
It was an ancient tree, branches were gnarled, but it was still a beautiful tree.
It stretched out in all directions, casting dappled shadows across the manicured lawn and embroidered stone pathways that wound through the garden.
Beneath this towering arboreal sentinel was a stone table, beautiful, clearly expensive with its intentional structure, sat as the focal point of the courtyard. The table was surrounded by four stone chairs, each as elaborate and regal as the table itself.
This was where Nero loved to sit, to allow himself to think, far away from the noise of his brothers.
