The structure of Spheris's mind was designed by him, however he could not ascertain the day he had mapped out this design. Still, its existence was undeniable.

Spheris envisioned his mind as a grand, shadowy library and it manifested as such. Inside this library of shadows, thoughts and memories were stored in segments called Shelves.

They were designed as the literal name. Each Shelf was illuminated by a faint, ethereal light, casting long, mysterious shadows in the spacious library.

Each Shelf served a purpose, holding a different aspect of his intelligence and his strategizing.

The Strategy Shelf was dedicated to planning and formulating strategies. The Tactics Shelf focused more on immediate thinking and rapid decisions in a tense situation. The Emotions Shelf dealt with more personal, softer issues.
