By the end of the night, we were outside Erman's mansion. The treatment took much longer than I expected, and Yumi even fell asleep during the process. However, I managed to wrap up the treatment for today, removing about 10% of the excess Ether from her body.
It wasn't enough to restore her completely, but Yumi mentioned that her body already felt much lighter compared to before. Moreover, even though it was only 10%, this progress allowed her to move without feeling pain in her body for a few hours.
"I really don't know how to express my gratitude for the help and kindness you've all shown to my family. This is a debt I will carry and try to repay for the rest of my life"
For a moment, I thought Erman might be exaggerating. Probably the fact that no doctor had even managed to relieve Yumi's pain made his gratitude towards us seem excessive. Still, I couldn't shake the feeling that I didn't deserve all the gratitude he was showing.
