"Yeah... you appear quite often on television after all"
Upon hearing my words, Erman nodded as if it was obvious, but his attitude was far from arrogant. It was more like the confidence of someone who looks at an exam answer and is absolutely certain it's correct. That was the kind of assurance he conveyed.
"Well, your name is Noah Jade. I've gathered some information about you before coming to meet you, and I apologize for that. In my line of work, it's crucial to gather information beforehand; otherwise, you end up lost when it really matters" Erman said confidently.
I understood what he was trying to tell me, but still, a certain reluctance remained. Who would feel comfortable with someone who openly admitted to investigating them? However, I must admit that it's better he was honest about it than keeping it a secret.
