"Yes!" Ilya responded, surprised by my sudden call.
"As soon as we're close enough, I want you to run straight for the exit" I said, turning my head to look Ilya in the eyes.
Upon hearing my words, Ilya gave me a look that mixed surprise and concern. Shortly after, her voice echoed close to my ear.
"But what about you?" Ilya asked, her worried gaze fixed on me.
"I'll stay behind. If we keep going like this, they'll catch up before we reach the exit. If that happens, we probably won't stand a chance" I replied, turning my gaze forward.
Of course, I assumed this time they would all attack us at once, which was a fairly high possibility. In the end, I couldn't see any other alternative. However, what Ilya said next was completely opposite to what I initially expected.
"So... then I'll stay to help you. My power isn't as useful, but I can help with minor wounds" Ilya said, her voice sounding determined.
