Chapter 21: To the end
The two beasts are squaring off in front of them. Both bearing their fangs at each other. In a blink, they lunged forward to maul each other. The other beasts seems to have a vendetta as it's ferocity is much more pronounced as it bites the Fakadi off.
The Fakadi immediately pounced the other beast away from itself and it immediately run off in circles at the beasts in blinding speed. The panther beast tried to gauge where the Fakadi is, but is having trouble as it can't see anymore.
The Fakadi then proceed to lunge at it to slash and immediately runs off again surrounding it. It proceeded to do it several times that the panther is starting to amount damage. The mechs are in awe and confusion on what is happening now as they reel on their injuries.
"What is going on? What is that beast and did it helped us?" Arlandy asked on the situation.
Altor was on the gray on what is happening now.
"Ugh! I don't know what is happening now, but this maybe our chance." He groaned to his injuries but stood up well.
Kofalu was on the same page as he stood up with his sword to perch upon on. They're the only ones that can still fight despite their injuries. The Fakadi is still ramming it's attacks on the beast who is starting to go on it's last legs. It's prepping up it last attack to deliver the killing blow. Altor and Kofalu is standing there in the corner watching with their swords up.
"Sir Altor, we need to get the right timing or else we might miss it. Let me deliver the first attack. I would probably manage to time it this time." Kofalu explained to him.
"I understand. Lead the way." Altor nods in agreement.
The panther beast can't keep up and it collapses under the damage. The Fakadi is now delivering the killing blow when...
Slash!!!
Kofalu dashed forward delivering a slash with his sword. The Fakadi immediately saw this and jumped out of the way. Then immediately Altor jumped in to deliver his attack. It also jumped again away from it. Then another attack from Kofalu as it landed and he managed to give him a bit of damage which the Fakadi groaned in pain.
Altor dashed again with his sword to attack the Fakadi, which it immediately dodged over, only for Kofalu to slash him back again a slice in its back. It roared in pain but it doesn't have the luxury to reel it in as Altor slashed it again in its side and ambrosia leaked out.
The two mechs didn't want to step there and they immediately attacked again. The Fakadi instantly dashed away from their line of attack and run in circles around them. Ambrosia trinkled over them as the Fakadi immediately slashed them with it's claws.
"Argh!!" The two groaned in pain.
But this was different from before. The Fakadi seemed to move a bit slower than before. This wasn't flew over Altor's attention.
"It's movement. It's slower. Now's our chance!" He exclaimed as he swing his his sword.
Slash!!
Another slash to the Fakadi and immediately it tumbled over and is now lying on the metal pavement. Altor immediately lunged to him to attack it, not taking any more chances, so do Kofalu too. They went their swords to stab the beast but the beast instead lunged forward, caughting them off guard.
"What in the-"
Kofalu was cut off mid sentence as the beast immediately slashed him at the bottom of his metal chest.
"Argh!!!"
Kofalu took a quite huge damage from that slash and he stumbled down.
"What!?"
Altor seeing this, wastes no time in attacking the beast, which it immediately dodged. This spurn frustration to him as apparently it can still move quite fast even despite it's injuries or most likely it straining itself to move fast even in its injuries.
'Its still moving fast to dodge our attacks. It looks like it can still managed under the injuries we inflicted to it. Or maybe...'
A flash of inspiration dawned unto him from his observation of its movements and he prepped himself to attack again.

The panther beast that lies on the cold metal ground started to stood up. It can't see what's happening now, but it turned it's head to where the Fakadi and Altor are with its mechanical ears twitching. It then started to limply walk over to their direction with a growl on it's maw. It is determined to fight it's enemy as it reminiscing on it's past and it was not a pleasant one. It wanted to get retribution for what happened. He won't let things slide.
