That day, the when all came crashing down. I was gonna do what I loved, watching anime, especially SSSS.Gridman, hehehehe. The final episode was a blast to watch, I wanted to go back in time to its premiere and relive the excitement I've experienced. I just wished that what really happened, but no. THEY HAD TO COME HERE!!!
As the day was on its monotonous stroll, the sky darkened. Its wasn't the clouds or even an eclipse. They were ships. SPACESHIPS! Of course when we see this kind of things, the reactions are mixed, but when the shots are blown, everyone knows, it would be a moment in we could never go back again.
*Pant* *Pant*
"We're being chased by the guards! How long is the ways to the Regulus Core?"
" Only just few meters away, but there are still many guards there and their magical security system is packed around the area of the core!" Vendugi exclaimed in an somehow calm demeanour.
"Hope so the plan can be still applicable in this situation we are in now." Hibino, the second in command of the group wer'e in for this operation.
"I knew this plan is a terrible idea from the start!! How are we gonna take down these many Magistoids when we don't have any magic and just with two Magistoids on our side, which is like the only miracle we had. Just only a little. Its not giving me confidence! Everything going to-" That grumpy one is Goto, our weapons expert and former Yakuza.
"Miracle, huh? Yeah we two are the only miracle left after the last battle, y'know! Everything we had was given for this mission to succeed. We're not letting everything that we risked to go down in the abyss, so really, you had to trust us on this." Ardugo, the leader of the Magistoids that rebelled against the Rex Regulus' authority, Magistoid's Highest authority.
Now just down to the two of them and exclaimed this in a heavier tone than usual.
Our team of two Magistoids and several more humans including Hibino, Goto and me, are on the High castle ship that was being stationed above on what is or was Tokyo. This is the Main Armada Ship that commands every ships that came and invade the whole planet and the Rex Reguluses' Base of operations here on Earth. Deep in the ship's quarters is the Regulus Core, encased in a huge crystal that lustre of blues are captivating, the source of all the magic that breathed life to all Magistoids and also supplies their innate abilities of Magic which Humanity lacked, as they were literally built to be like that. Resembling robots which are double as tall that of a regular human, they've became an unstoppable force that overwhelmed humanity in a matter of months. Our arsenal are almost completely useless against their proficiency in magic, we never had a chance to begin with. The exceptions are tools imbued with magic with varying degree.
Running to the hallway in front are more guards are coming calibrating their magical circles to prepare an attack.
"Everyone! Behind me Now!" Ardugo exclaimed loudly to us as he and Vendugi are also arming themselves in magic.
But also at a huge disadvantage. Even so, everybody prepared their weapons to ready for a fight.
"Makino." Hibino whispered at him.
"But hibino, the plan-"
" The plan already changed." He cut off immediately.
Then the magic and bullets are fired.
"For our leader, go!! " Giving me the tools I need.
There's no time to lose. He has to do it.
I ran and cloaked my self in a magical cloak concealer, which concealed my presence in the midst of many Magiatoid guards around, an item that the Magistoids that we're allied painstakingly crafted for months, as it it was a very hard magic to conjure by a regular Magiatoid. But even with that, it's no picnic navigating the crossfire between many robots shooting magic at my comrades. Especially with a package in my hand. A special item needed to finish this mission.
Bam! Bam! Boom!
The explosive force from the magic the Magistoids are comparable to the ones in the battlefield waged with tanks. Even bullets doesn't scratch them too much, a lot can make them quite annoyed and with a lot of grenades in our packs can still make a difference.
"Arggh!! They're everywhere!!! They're popping like flies to a trash can!!" Goto shouted as he fires his gatling gun around the guards, with finding time to toss grenades at them.
"We need to do this! And hopefully that the those monsters came down from their throne to come here." Hibino stated part of the plan, quietly praying inside that it will succeed.
"We're near the house that the Regulus Core resides. They're would sure wanted to get here because they cared for the core so much. It was the source of all magic we had. That if, we managed to stay long enough and create a lot more mess." Ventugi answered his question in a noncommittal way, as he fired his magic away, destroying some of the Magistoids.
"I would hope so, I hope Makino can make it there and plant the bomb. We need to survive long enough and this madness would end." Ardugo said with a strong bravado, as a leader would while managing to destroy many of the guards.
The battle there raged on there for a while. Meanwhile Makino was in the end of the hallway, far from the battle that is ensuing by his comrades. He arrived near to the door for the first layer of protecting rooms that guards the room that the Core is being housed, being guarded with many guards in each layering rooms. It is also being laced with many protective spells for extra protection. It was the top notch protection for a very important relic.
'Three guards, eh. Just like the schematics said. Looks like they wouldn't just leave yet. Not if there isn't much more ruckus.'
Clang!
Pulling pins from 2 grenades that he brought, throwing it away.
Boom!!!!! Boom!!!!!
"Enemy attack!!" The three guards leaving the door to see the place of the explosion, Makino saw his chance.
'Hope so this would work.' Holding a magical tool that was given to him by Ventugi that can, hopefully, access the door by bypassing its magical locks.
Swoosh!!
The door slides open, leaving a grin on Makino's face.
The battle in the entry point is still ongoing. Shots fired from gattling and machine guns and fire from the Magistoids' magic clashed together as the two sides waged war for annihilation. Ardugo and Ventugi fired both fire and ice magic to the onslaught of the guards, while their human companions' guns and grenades, being enchanted by magic, can still hold them back a little.
"Is there any changes in the situation? It's still guards loitering here?" Hibino said.
"I hope you didn't send us to a pointless mission here, you know! The kid needed that or he's gonna be ashed!!" Goto angrily retorted for the life of the kid.
"I hope they didn't just assigned too many guards before we created the plan." Ventugi explained with a straight tone.
"Ans I do hope that those Kings didn't get much more ego than ever before!" Ardugo grumbly said with some fierce anger.
Many guards are being destroyed by Ardugo and Ventugi and the firepower from the humans are starting to overwhelm the guards by a miracle of hard work. Looks like the plan is gonna work.
Boom!!! Boom!!! Boom!!!
Three simultaneous explosions erupted near the place of the rebels. It wasn't just a typical explosion. It was an explosion of fire and ice. Enough force to completely obliterate them. But Ardugo and Ventugi have more than enough awareness to dodge them and take their comrades away.
"Oh. Managing to dodge them? Very impressive or not. It was expected from you." A calm but menacing voice echoed from the hallway, sending chills to everyone in the place, including the rebels.
"You can't expect anything more from them, brother Arcturis. It is just how the things is and could never change. Well except to us. We had the rights for the enactment of change to anything we want." A booming thuds of footsteps proceeding to the cavalry. Their calvary.
"Betenduris, have much more stride on your entrance. We must the proper grace for doing these activities." Three huge menacing figure fully being revealed to the terror of everyone.
The Rex Reguluses are here now.
"Great. The plan is really working, Makato." Hibino whispered.

The guards are now all gone, every guard form the layering rooms have left a little while ago and along the way, helply opening the doors by the guards hurrying the battle, Makino taking advantage of it. It was like a game of luck, he might get a giggle out of it, but he's not. The mission comes first.
"This is the last door. After this." Makino holds the tool to open the door and it opened, revealing to him in bright blue colours of light, The Regulus Core.
A floating crystal in a tube, radiating in magical energy, even for a human like Makino can feel its flow in the air. The surface can be compared to shiny obsidian, only in deep sheen of bright blue, you can't help but to awe in its sight.
But Makino holds his wits together and focused to the mission and prepared the bomb he will gonna plant to the core. It has enough force to shatter the tube that protects the core and-
Whoosh!
"Well. Well. What a clever little plan all of you concocted. Impressive." Arcturis Rex Regulus remarked in flat monotone.
Makino froze at the tone of the monster.
"Dont bother hiding hiding in that ridiculous cloak. It's gonna fool everyone but us." With a flick of Betenduris Rex Regulus' hand, the magical cloak hiding Makino teared instantly in a cracking electric wind.
Makino slowly turned his head to see the terror that sights was turned on him.
