Jiang Yuan granted the petty thieves of Ningtai County the liberty of a longer prison term, which only lasted a little over a day.
By the second day, the three police officers in the image office saw Jiang Yuan still handling the same mundane theft cases, and they couldn't help but grow restless.
When Jiang Yuan came by again, the youngest officer, Gao Jiansheng, said, "Doctor Jiang, if you have some free time, could you help us with a case?"
"What case?" Jiang Yuan asked.
"There are two motorbike thieves from out of town who snatched several women's bags in front of the bus station. The victims have reported the crime, and we've found the footage, but we just can't get it clean," Gao Jiansheng said, already prepared with the images, and pulled them out as he spoke.
What he meant by 'not clean,' was the noise in the images wasn't properly processed.
