Sun Wukong gripped Taibai Jinxing's collar, asking.
"It is indeed true. His Majesty has agreed to confer upon you the title of Qitian Sage and a position of Second Rank too!"
Taibai Jinxing said unflinchingly, with a smile.
Upon hearing this, Sun Wukong still had some doubts. He leapt up and down, jumping around inside the Shuilian Cave, very restless.
"Old Star, did you truly relay exactly what I, Old Sun, had said to the Jade Emperor?"
"To appoint me as Qitian Sage, henceforth without raising arms and if not so, I will storm the Celestial Court, ensuring his dragon bed will not grant him peace. Old Star, did you say all these?"
Sun Wukong asked repeatedly.
"I did, I did."
Taibai Jinxing answered with a smile, secretly pondering.
How could he ever say such things outright.
He had to sugarcoat the message a bit before presenting it to the Celestial Court; he couldn't possibly say it exactly like that.
