In the Mortal Realm, to the west of Chu Prefecture lies Annan County, which is established in the southwestern part of East State and governs the southwestern counties.
East State is often unified, but not all of East State has always been stable and peaceful. The Wu Dynasty Capital is located slightly north of the center of East State.
With the Wu Dynasty at the center, the central government controls and influences the Four States. Areas closer to the Capital City are more prosperous, indicating they are under the direct control of the Capital.
The farther away an area is from the Wu Dynasty Capital, the more desolate it becomes, and the weaker the central control over it is.
Among these, the southwestern region is mostly chaotic. The Wu Dynasty established Annan County to govern it, but even at its peak, it could only suppress the chaos in the southwest to a certain extent. During tumultuous times, the southwest is definitely more chaotic than the central Wu Dynasty.
