Within the blink of an eye, three months had passed.
Yibai finally emerged from the poor and treacherous mountains, the incessant perilous mountain range.
He could no longer remember how many mountains he had crossed or how much forestland he had trekked through; he only remembered to keep heading west.
During these three months, he trudged along the arduous path monotonously. Sometimes, when his mind was restless, he would find a place to meditate to sort through the remnants of his Buddhist practice, refine the Monster Qi within, and stabilize his mind.
After three months of austere practice, his understanding of the Buddhist Law had indeed improved considerably.
"Today, I have finally come out!"
Yibai was in high spirits.
He looked ahead.
There lay the wilderness with trees on both sides, cypresses and pines that filled one's view.
He walked onto a narrow path, intending to follow it and see if there was anything out of the ordinary.
He hadn't been on the path long.
