Within Zhendong City, seawater spread from the south, extending all the way into the city walls.
From Zhendong City towards the south, it had almost become a marshland, where eggs would periodically burst forth, exploding in the air, and out would emerge a monster.
This monster was only half the size of a regular adult, with limbs elongated like those of a frog, but it also had sharp claws, crawling on all fours like a small dog.
Its entire body was connected to its head, resembling a fish, with bulging eyes, and a mouth that, when opening and closing, revealed sharp teeth. Upon falling into the water, it would let out a loud croak and swim towards a floating corpse, tearing its thigh to shreds with a bite.
Monsters like these were everywhere in this marsh.
