Time passed by minute by minute, but the crying did not sound again. My legs had lost all sensation from meditating for too long. I used my hands to pull my legs apart from the cross-legged position and placed them off the side of the bed.
Looking at the time, it was already one o'clock in the morning. Perhaps the crying would not come again. I simply took off my clothes and crawled under the covers, ready to sleep. I must say, the blanket here was not as warm as the ones at home. It might have been all in my mind, or perhaps the material of the blanket was just not as good.
A wave of sleepiness overcame me, and I gradually entered the land of dreams. I still had plenty of time before school started, so I could slowly investigate what was really happening. In a dazed state, I said to myself.
