"He's calling for you."
The woman in white gave me a glance but didn't speak; instead, she looked at the female ghost, then turned her gaze toward the man.
"Xing'er, so you too know how to break your word. I used to think you were a principled woman, a liar—that's what you are! Hurry up and let me out, or even if I turn into a ghost, I'll make you die again." The man still believed everything was the doing of the woman in white. After shouting a few times and getting no response, he became somewhat hysterical.
"I'm not a liar. It's not my doing that you can't get out. As for who's responsible, you should know that yourself. You better think it over carefully," the woman in white had been indifferent, but when the man called her a liar, she appeared abruptly and retorted at the man.
"Xing'er, Xing'er, I beg you, spare me, oh, save me, please. I don't want to be burned alive here." Seeing the woman in white appear, the man immediately changed his tune, his voice quieting down.
