Old Wang felt overcome with sleepiness, and after glancing once more at the cherished mirror, he walked towards the bed.
Just as he lay down, Old Wang felt something wasn't right, so he got up from the bed, went back to the mirror, and caressed it gently a few times with his hand. Then, clutching it to his chest, he returned to his bed.
Holding the mirror while lying in bed, Old Wang felt much more at ease, stroking the crane on the back of the mirror before slowly closing his eyes.
"Old Wang... Old Wang.." A soft voice suddenly entered Old Wang's ears.
The noise woke Old Wang up, and he was about to get angry when he realized that the voice seemed like that of a young girl, and it sounded very comforting.
"Who's there?" Old Wang asked as he sat up, holding the mirror.
