Hearing that scream, I suddenly opened my eyes and looked toward the source of the shriek. My first thought was, why had that person run out of the circle I drew? But when I saw that they were still clutching a Luminous Pearl in their hand, I immediately realized what had happened—they must have wanted to collect the Luminous Pearls around their friend, which was why they had left the circle.
I had overlooked this point and had forgotten to warn that person. Their friend had been bitten by a zombie and with the corpse poison attacking the heart, they were sure to turn into a zombie themselves. But then again, even if I had warned that person, it's not certain they would have listened to me; after all, I had already told them not to leave the circle no matter what happened, no matter what they saw.
