"Let's go." Wang Duo might have been careless, or perhaps it was done on purpose. He slapped my injured arm heavily, snapping me out of my reverie.
"Dammit, that hurts." I glared at Wang Duo as I spoke.
"I know it hurts, that's why I hit you. Now we're even," Qian Wang said with a sly grin, looking like he had succeeded in his mischievous plan.
"How are we even? What have I done to you?" I seemed a bit confused by Wang Duo's reasoning.
"What have you done to me? You had a magic artifact that you could've used, but instead you hid it. I ended up as exhausted as a dog, and that thing even scratched me." As he spoke, Wang Duo lifted his arm, which was bleeding.
Somehow, seeing this scene made me feel a bit more balanced in my heart. We both had injured arms, but they were left and right, one more serious than the other.
