I was puzzled, where was this ghostly wind coming from? With my doubts, I lit the candle again.
Another gust of cold wind blew, and the candle was snuffed out once more...
"What are you dawdling for? Is it lit or not?" Niu Dan saw me squatting in the corner for a long time without standing up and couldn't help but get a bit anxious.
"I've lit it twice, and it's been blown out twice," I turned back and answered somewhat helplessly.
"What? It went out?" Baldy suddenly shouted. Then he quickly walked over to my side, snatched the lighter from my hand, squatted next to the candle, and lit it.
His eyes were fixed sternly on the candle and didn't blink at all.
"Damn it, kid, you better not be playing any tricks on me, otherwise, I can't guarantee you'll make it out of here," Baldy glared at me menacingly, pointing to the lit candle.
No sooner had Baldy's words fallen than the candle in the corner went out.
