"Silly child, calm down, I just want to tell you the truth, I don't have any other intentions, you are still my most beloved grandson, they are still your parents who love you the most," Grandma gently pinched my face.
Although Grandma said this, my heart couldn't calm down. I didn't know why she had to tell me this, was it just because I had grown up and keeping it from me was unfair? If that was the case, I would rather never know the truth.
I kept shaking my head, my tears already soaking my collar.
Grandma seemed to know that I couldn't accept it right away, quietly watching me, stroking my head.
After a few minutes, I wriggled out from Grandma's embrace and wiped the tears from my face with my sleeve.
Although I had calmed down a bit, my heart still felt very uncomfortable. I didn't know why my biological parents abandoned me, or why Grandma and the others loved me as if I were their own child.
