The moment I pushed open the dormitory door, a musty smell assaulted my face, and I quickly covered my nose, hastening to the window to push it open. If it didn't get aired out, how could anyone live here? Although this dormitory no longer belonged to me. Looking around, I found all four beds empty, with only a few tattered mats spread on them. The fact that no one had moved in by now only meant this dormitory was reserved for new students.
After a few minutes, I acclimated to the smell in the dormitory, pulled a mat from the bed to spread on the floor, and turned to open the cupboard to take out the stuff inside. Thankfully, the cupboard was very dry, and the charm papers hadn't molded, otherwise it would have been a real headache. These things aren't easy to buy, and most importantly, I almost had no purchasing power. All the money given by the school was spent on study materials; dreaming of buying other things was undoubtedly foolish.
