Lu Ban felt as if he had a long dream.
In the dream, he became an ordinary college graduate, not chosen by the Silent Lands as a Chosen by Gods, nor encountering all sorts of things. He muddled along in a film crew for a while, working overtime intensely every day, and the money he earned was just enough to cover his rent and food.
In short, it was very tough, like a beast of burden.
On his rare day off, he walked into a movie theater, where an exciting and thrilling movie was playing. Lu Ban was so immersed, he found it very enjoyable.
Stepping out of the movie theater, those fantastic daydreams disappeared without a trace, turning back into burdens of life, weighing on his shoulders.
Then, he saw a girl crying nearby. He didn't know whether she was moved by the movie that had just played or if the plot struck a chord with her.
Lu Ban walked over and handed her a tissue.
"Thank you,"
she said, taking the tissue, wiping away her tears, and then turning to face him.
