Due to the temporal characteristics of the Silent Lands, it was entirely possible that a future Chosen by Gods could travel to the past of a Foreign Domain. If someone brought the Pure Fire from the Splendid Realm to Harmony Island and found a way to preserve it there, then what Lu Ban saw years later was not impossible.
This gave Lu Ban two insights: first, the Pure Fire was controllable. The methods used by the Chief Priestess of the Great Shrine of Harmony Island to control the Pure Fire were relatively primitive, requiring intense negative emotions to achieve control through Pollution.
Compared to that, storing Glaze Fire in a bottle was a piece of cake.
If the filth of Harmony Island could only be destroyed with Pure Fire, then the technologies and items of the Splendid Realm to control Pure Fire might potentially limit the destruction of Pure Fire on the world itself to an extent.
