The next day, eight o'clock.
"Goddess of Joy, holy and beautiful, your brilliant radiance showers over the Earth..."
Without having drawn the curtains, Lu Ban opened his eyes amid the singing of Ode to Joy.
He had slept soundly that night.
It made sense.
For an ordinary person who kept regular hours and didn't let worries or fatigue carry over to the next day, several hours of tense and thrilling adventure in the Foreign Domain had greatly damaged his body.
However, Lu Ban wasn't lazy; he immediately sat up.
As he got up, he noticed something wasn't quite right.
Moving his body around, Lu Ban felt as if he had been reborn.
He looked at his left arm, where the night before, the Ratman had bitten him with its sharp teeth. Now the bandage there itched, making him want to reach out and scratch.
"Could it be tetanus?"
Curiously, Lu Ban unwrapped the bandage, but what he saw wasn't rotting, mutated flesh.
The wound had healed.
