Upon entering the city, Qin Shou was dumbfounded for a moment.
The reason was simple, outside the city, the sky was falling, yet these people inside carried on as if nothing was happening, just like any other day!
It was as if the fighting outside had nothing to do with them.
After walking for a while, Qin Shou couldn't help himself and grabbed someone to ask, "Hey, Brother He, aren't you worried with the battle going on outside?"
The person chuckled and replied, "I've lived long enough to see through life and death. If you're alive, you should enjoy life; as for death, that's not really up to us, right? Being carefree and at ease comes first, regardless of whether the sky falls or not!"
Having said that, the person walked away.
Qin Shou couldn't comprehend that person's words. He knew about being carefree, but to remain carefree when you're about to die, isn't that being terribly thick-skinned?
