No sooner had he left Women Country and reached Jindou Mountain than he heard the sound of cannon fire below, followed by an assault of demon soldiers who surrounded Qin Shou from all sides.
Qin Shou was perplexed, thinking to himself, don't these demon soldiers recognize the Heavenly Court emblem on his carriage? Were they courting death or planning a rebellion?
Qin Shou poked his head out and saw a black-and-blue-faced demon general standing on a dark cloud, who shouted, "What brazen creature is this, daring to fly over Jindou Mountain?! Truly courting death, come out and meet your end swiftly!"
