The day after the Knight's battle with the thief, An Si brought the security transport company to Columbia University. Only Liu Erbao's team had returned to China due to an internal TK meeting, while An Si was still in the U.S.
Ren He did not personally handle the transportation, as the money had already been transferred to An Si. The oil painting, once in China, would be the responsibility of Liu Erbao to receive and eventually smuggle back to Liu Hai Alley without much concern from Ren He.
