Fu Chi sat in the chair across from Ke Qing.
His expressions were mild.
Seeming to be merely an observer.
He was always able to maintain absolute tranquility.
As for Ke Qing's words, he did not deny them, and didn't even give a proper look to the person in front of him. He was just idly toying with his ring, as though in deep thought.
"You've confessed everything?"
Ke Qing looked at him and smiled, "What do you want to say?"
The man raised his eyes, his calm gaze was like a lifeless icy abyss, "Back then, you did not set the fire."
This was not a question.
It was a declarative sentence, an affirmative one.
Ke Qing simply laughed, even at this point, she was still able to maintain her dignity.
"Of course, I didn't set the fire. Your mother did. She was mad, wasn't she? There's nothing she couldn't do."
The woman's voice was indifferent.
There was even a hint of laughter in it.
