Jiang Ruan seemed to raise an eyebrow.
She glanced again at the clock hanging on the wall. It seemed a bit early...?
After some thought, she walked towards the door.
Opened the door.
But saw someone unexpected.
The girl was simply dressed with a ponytail. Her face wasn't exactly pretty. In fact, it was even rather plain, but her eyes had remarkable contours. Yet, they lacked any spark of life.
Jiang Ruan slightly licked her lips: "...Cheng Xu?"
Cheng Xu's expression was still dull, as if she was slower than the average person.
"Come in."
Jiang Ruan didn't say much more.
She stepped aside to let Cheng Xu enter.
Cheng Xu nodded, clutching her canvas bag as she entered the room. Looking up, she made eye contact with Jiang Yuxin on the other side. She hesitated for a moment, but still nodded at Jiang Yuxin.
It was her way of greeting.
Jiang Yuxin was chewing on her chopsticks, "Hello, I'm Jiang Yuxin."
