Early morning, enveloped in a white mist.
The whole sky was a hazy gray.
By the roadside, several police cars were parked by the river.
Police tape was surrounding the area.
At the front, police officers in white protective suits were lifting a dead body from the water. After being submerged all night, the corpse was pale and bloated, the eyes bulging, the lips purple-blue, the limbs swollen and wrinkled.
"Judging by the post-mortem lividity, the time of death should be around two to three in the morning. There are no external injuries on the body."
One of the officers stepped forward to assess the situation, providing an estimated time of death.
"A citizen out for a morning run saw the corpse floating on the surface and called the police immediately. We've pulled surveillance footage from this area, and it shows the decedent accidentally fell into the water."
"From the surveillance footage, the decedent was stumbling, with unstable footsteps, clearly in a drunken state."
