The gamblers were filled with doubt and suspicion. Initially, when they saw a 'child' climb onto the stage, they watched with an attitude akin to enjoying a play, but now that their interests were at stake, they could no longer just sit back and watch. Their bets were all placed on Black Dog, and if Black Dog lost, they wouldn't be able to get their money back.
"Damn it!"
Someone cursed.
The insiders of the black market were dumbfounded, especially Black Panther who had previously warned Black Eagle. He had also fought Black Dog before and had intentionally lost to him because the higher-ups had given clear instructions not to let Black Dog lose; he had to win!
But who could have predicted that out of nowhere this Black Cat would appear and disrupt everything?
Below the stage, Black Dog clumsily climbed to his feet, covering his chest as he coughed twice. A dark shade flashed through his eyes, but he had to admit defeat.
