Yang Ruxin, of course, had no idea what the little green snake was thinking. After watching the creature swim away in the space, she waited a while longer to make sure there were no other issues before she came out, let out a breath, and then continued to search for Sanni, her anxiety growing. What if she encountered a snake?
But luck was on her side, and, finally, atop a slope, Yang Ruxin saw a corner of fabric that belonged to Sanni's clothing. She hurried down the slope, tumbling and crawling. Sure enough, there was someone lying in the grass below.
Yang Ruxin quickly checked for breath. Thankfully, Sanni had only fainted. She sighed in relief, glanced at the small slope—it wasn't too high, but carrying someone up would be a struggle. With no other choice, she moved Yang Sanni into the space, climbed up herself, then transferred Sanni back out and pinched her philtrum.
