Mr. Yu "fell ill", and Yijin and Yixiu, the siblings, went to the door of their teacher's bedroom to ask after his health and inquire if he needed a doctor.
Mr. Yu had stayed up worrying all night until dawn before he fell asleep. He had wanted to have a peaceful sleep, but the noise from the younger siblings annoyed him. With his eyes closed, he said, "You are really bothersome, just go back and do your schoolwork."
The younger siblings then asked him to rest well before leaving Linhe Garden.
Hand in hand, they walked toward Wangjiang Building, mainly with Yijin leading Yixiu, who couldn't refuse even if he wanted to.
On the way, Yixiu muttered quietly, "The teacher must have stayed up late writing poetry last night, and he doesn't want to get out of bed this morning. Listening to him, his voice is strong and clear—doesn't sound sick at all."
Yijin said with a smile, "It's better to keep this thought to yourself, little sister."
