Pei Qin's lips twitched fiercely, "You were picked up from South Hillside!"
Jiujiu pouted, and tears quickly welled up, "Then who is my real dad?"
Seeing her little face filled with sorrow and her eyes quickly brimming with tears, Pei Wendong, feeling helpless, glanced at his elder sister who was teasing his daughter. He pulled Jiujiu aside to explain that her mom was just talking nonsense—their parents were indeed her biological parents! She even resembled her father a lot!
Jiujiu was still somewhat skeptical, thinking her uncle was just coaxing her. After everyone around insisted she looked like her dad and was his child, she finally believed it.
Looking at the culprit, Jiujiu sniffled, "Mom is so lazy! Just to avoid making lanterns, she lied that I'm not her own child!"
Pei Qin glared, "Radish! Come here, mom will teach you how to draw!"
"Draw what?" Jiujiu hurriedly asked, proud of how well she could draw little chickens and bugs.
