Lady Fang looked at Grandma Miao outside with suspicion.
As soon as Si Ya saw her, she didn't have a good expression on her face. Every time they went up the mountain to collect leaves, Grandma Miao would accuse them of messing with her gathered firewood if she saw them.
"My, my! Your family split up and now you live like royalty! Are you really eating white flour now!?" Grandma Miao eyed the white flour pancake in their hands, dripping with jealousy.
"Is there something you need, Grandma Miao?" Lady Fang asked without further explanation.
"Oh! I didn't see your family yesterday." Grandma Miao said with a chuckle, probing mysteriously, "I heard you sold bamboo rats for silver coin, is that where you catch them, up in the mountain behind the village? I heard bamboo rats are like mice, big like rabbits. How do you catch them, huh?"
Upon hearing this, Si Ya pulled a face and retorted, "What business is it of yours how we caught them!"
