An Lan deliberately drew out her tone. Xiao Yihe became somewhat flustered and quickly explained, "After all, I am the only one vying for this position, so I thought there would be more people supporting me. Lanlan, don't overthink it."
It was indeed hard not to overthink it.
A hint of sarcasm flashed in An Lan's eyes as she signaled Zhang Duo with a side glance to take note of these problematic individuals; once Zhan Ting returned, she intended to settle accounts with each and every one of them.
