Huo Zhanting was speaking when he lifted his hand casually to tuck her stray hairs behind her ears. Just then, the door burst open from outside. An Lan frowned displeasedly and turned her head to see Zhang Ya holding breakfast in her hand, parading it in the air as if offering a treasure, and waving to An Lan.
"Lanlan, look, your favorite soy milk from this place. I asked the doctor, and he said you can have soy milk. It's still warm. Try it and see. I was afraid it wasn't sweet enough, so I asked them to add a bit more sugar especially for you."
Zhang Ya completely ignored Huo Zhanting's dark expression and moved closer to An Lan.
An Lan glanced over towards Huo Zhanting and then laughed out loud, "Yaya, we were just talking about you, and here you are."
"Hm? What about me?" Zhang Ya blinked and carefully inserted the straw into the soy milk, handing it over to An Lan with a curious expression.
"Nothing much, just thought you'd be coming over soon."
