Xia Qingtian lifted Cheng Bingbing's clothes to inspect the burn. Thankfully, it was only red and not blistered.
However, Bingbing's silence and the look on her face had Qingtian worried.
"Bingbing, what's wrong with you?" she asked, patting Bingbing's face anxiously.
Cheng Bingbing seemed suddenly to snap back to reality.
"I..." She bit her lip hard, replying, "I'm fine."
Watching Bingbing almost bite through her lip, Xia Qingtian struggled to believe that she was really fine. She knew she wouldn't tell her what was wrong at this point, so she decided to play it cool.
Acting as though she hadn't noticed anything was wrong, she said, "As long as you're okay."
Seeing that Qingtian wasn't pressing her any further, Bingbing let out a sigh of relief.
She sat down again, picking anxiously at her fingers. The man hadn't let her go and certainly wouldn't let her go now, and Bingbing didn't know what to do.
