Wen Sheng couldn't help but chuckle.
Fu Yanlin expressed his dissatisfaction, "You dare to laugh?"
Wen Sheng softly replied, "Fu, it's not even ten o'clock yet."
Fu Yanlin pinched her tender cheek and feigned annoyance, "You don't miss me after a day apart?"
Wen Sheng squinted her eyes, "You can't be without me?"
Fu Yanlin candidly admitted, "I wish I could carry you in my pocket and take you to the office so I could see you all the time."
Wen Sheng grinned, "You're such a child."
Fu Yanlin remained noncommittal, abruptly pecked her lips, then looked into her doe eyes, his voice deep, "I'm just speaking the truth."
She used to watch people date and found their sticky sweetness incomprehensible. How could two people have so much to talk about, from daily meals to mundane chores, everything could become a topic. As for the sentiment 'one day apart feels like an eternity', she didn't get it. Wouldn't people tire of each other constantly being together?
