He closes the door to the corridor, and asks Ana to sit on the wall in the middle of the Terrace, without much ado he says:
"Is something going on between you and Scoot? You've been walking around holding hands since early this morning."
Ana rolls her eyes in surprise, especially at the "since early morning walking around holding hands" part, Ana corrects him:
"I'm not holding hands with anyone, I was just...just, going to the infirmary."
"What's more, I don't meddle in other people's affairs, like a certain person."
Ana is as sharp as a razor when she needs to be, she doesn't like being falsely accused of something she didn't do. Luke then sits down next to her, it's clear that he's jealous, and for a moment he wonders if he has the right to be jealous, since they don't have any kind of romantic relationship yet, but his reaction is stronger, he hasn't thought it through. They stay quiet for a few minutes, until Ana breaks the silence:
"So you brought me here to?"
She waits for Luke to answer, then he turns his body towards Ana and says:
"I told you to choose yesterday, me keeping or telling your secret, which one will it be?"
Ana remembers, in fact Luke ended up helping her and keeping her company, and especially keeping it a secret, that they missed the training and were hanging out in the mall, but she gave the excuse that she has a boyfriend, who doesn't exist, so nothing would stop her from doing what Luke had asked, that is, kissing him. Ana begins to feel nervous, in the sense of anxious, and the conversation with Scoot didn't help much today, but she definitely needs to decide on something, whether it's for good or not, after all she would be betraying someone who doesn't even exist, it was just a lie, or as Ana herself says, "omission of the truth", knowing that probably her future fiancé, is really Luke Becker, so why drag this "omission" out any longer, Ana seems very indecisive, for a brief moment she decides to take a chance and she also turns to Luke, takes a deep breath and says:
"Okay, so teach me what it's like to kiss someone with a piercing..."
For a moment she seems quite bold, but she mustered up all the courage she had to say it. Luke himself is surprised, he really liked seeing Ana more "daring", he gives a nice sideways smile, this has sharpened him in such a way, without much ado, he pulls Ana closer to him, making their faces very close to each other, Luke tilts his face and kisses her, their lips touch, Ana seems calm up to this point, and thinks:
(So far so good, what do I do next? Remember how they do it in the movies... they tilt their faces, and yes, they put their hands on the back of their heads while they kiss, okay let's go...)
Ana does exactly that, as if she had all the experience of kissing, but she notices that the pace of the kiss is getting faster, and then her tongue enters and she notices something different:
(Help, it's getting faster...Oops, what's that on his tongue...is it a tongue piercing? It wasn't just the one on his lip.)
Ana pauses for a moment, confused, and without thinking too much she says:
"Do you have a tongue piercing too?!"
Luke laughs, which Ana didn't expect, not that it bothers her kissing, because she's learning how to kiss at the moment, she tries to contain herself, to show that she's a master of the art of kissing, and says:
"Okay, okay, your silence is bought, right?
He makes a face that he's a little undecided about, he argues:
"It wasn't much, I'm not sure about..."
Ana takes a deep breath, her heart is beating so, so hard, she can't tell if it's nerves, what it really is, she tucks her hair behind her ear as she calms down, when she threatens to say something, Luke kisses her again, it's a longer kiss, but at the same time it's calmer, because he remembered that this could be his first kiss with Ana, so in fact it would have to go more calmly, and that she would have a good memory about it. The end of break bell rings, causing the two to finish their kiss, Ana notices that the door to the Terrace seems a little open, she clearly remembers Luke closing it, she stares at the door, which draws Luke's attention and also looks at the open door, the two conclude:
"Someone was in there."
Luke at first wonders who this person was who saw them, but doesn't make a big deal of hiding it, while Ana is desperate, because she said she had a boyfriend, and was cheating on him with Luke, and that's exactly what they could conclude, if it doesn't spread around the school.
Justin opens the door and sees the two of them still sitting on the wall, he finds their faces a little suspicious, he asks:
"What are you doing here alone? The end of break bell has already rung, aren't you going to class?"
Ana and Luke look at each other, but it doesn't look like Justin saw the two of them kissing, he was probably going to make some joke about it, Ana even wishes it had been him, that way he would have cleared up his doubt, but it probably wasn't him. They get up a little awkwardly and say goodbye, Justin notices that Luke is walking down the stairs in silence, which isn't like him, so he decides to ask:
"What were you two doing alone, Luke?" Justin is not convinced by Luke's answer and argues:
"You two were together yesterday, right?"
Luke doesn't see any other way, his brother knows him very well, and there's no point in hiding it, he assumes, that they were together and that they walked around the mall, watched a movie, and yes ended up kissing today. Justin rolls his eyes as he listens to Luke walk out of the classroom:
"Wow, how much you've done in a day and a half..."
He slaps Luke on the back and laughs, but adds:
"Bro, I actually saw someone leaving quickly through the Terrace corridor, that caught my eye, so I went to the Terrace, and saw the door was wide open, so I saw it was you two."
Luke thinks to himself, his brother really didn't see them kissing, it was someone else, honestly he'd be happy if it was Scoot, then he'd stop chasing after Ana, or not, Scoot is persistent, he sticks like a tick when he wants to.
