"Will you decide to create your own punishment or should I?"He said with an autoritative voice. A voice so cold yet demanding.
Now they knew there was nowhere to go.
"We will never say anything Sir."Kiara said as she had no other choice."We will never visit the library again."
Though those words hurt so much for Kiara,she had to abode by her own rules since she brought this onto herself.
Her expression looked sad yet regretful and Lisa saw that look.
"No. Kiara will come here."Lisa corrected."I will not. But we will never say a word to anyone. We promise."
"I am not interested in your plead. "He cut them off coldly and stared at Kiara."It does not look reasonable to me "
Kiara remained motionless and felt how good it would be if she were to give him a piece of herind but as she carefully picked up the pieces,shr knew if it were to be anyone,she would have been in a deeper trouble than what she was in already.
"Then what should I do to make things reasonable to you?"
But he said nothing. All he did was to keep staring at her creating an uncomfortable atmosphere around them especially Kiara.
"Nothing right?"There she led the way."Lisa. I think we should leave."
With that,as they quickly dashed out of his face, he monitored Kiara's step of the way.
'Mortals' He said inwardly.'Why do you keep running away.... Kiara?"
With a blink of an eye, the sudden wind mercilessly penetrated into the whole area shocking both Lisa and Kiara to death. Kiara slowly turned to the direction of the wind and knew that everything that took place was because of him.
"Give me your soul."He told her and came forward."Your innermost part of your soul. That would be reasonable enough."
"No! We are not doing that."Lisa shouted not believing what she just heard. Giving a soul was not part of the options she ever had in mind. She expected something worldly. Like money,or any other.
"Besides, you don't even have that right to do that. You will go to jail."
He laughed and spat at it."You are so naive. I am not literally saying it. Until you understand the meaning of what I just said,I will be keeping a close eye on you especially."
This time his gaze fixed on Kiara."Meet me in this library and you have until tomorrow's night and wherever you are you are Kiara, I will see you and if the answer is not given,I will have to take you with me."
The fear as he said those words,crept onto their hearts. Could he be capable of doing that? Kiara asked. Could he actually mean what he said? Lisa asked herself too. That was when an idea hit her and that pulled out a great burden on her.
"Relax. We can just search on Google. There we will find out the answer or simply ask people around or even come here and gather our information."She said with relief and placed a huge smile on it.
"I mean something else. Not what has been written by people. Find out what I really mean if you want to have your peace of mind."
Just the way he said and how he looked at them could really tell he was indeed serious.
"Let's go."Lisa said as she gathered her remaining hope left and quickly walked past him.
"Follow me"He told them looking calm."I will lead you out of here. The entrance from where you came is not the exit out of this building."
"We don't know you. We will find our way out of here."
"I don't mind but it would take sometime before leaving this place."
"He must be kidding Kiara. I think we've wasted our time."
Without wasting much time, they headed out as their footsteps got farther away from him .
Kiara turned to see this guy in the black attire;at least for another time.
With his arms still in his pockets, their eyes interlocked and he smiled so cold yet so devilish starting her.
"Who can he be?"She asked herself as she turned forward. Within, she had this feeling that this guy could be a lot more than her understanding.
"I know you will find the meaning "Ace assured himself."And when that happens....."
There, just like that, about half a quarter of a second he disappeared as Kiara turned and saw no one present.

"She has the book . Mortals ...."
"She will be here."He assured himself of that as he gazed through the window watching the majestic view, seductively taking off his garment exposing his chisled chest and arms and well-defined abs."I know she will."

The next day....
Kiara and Lisa managed to get out of the library but regretted not allowing that guy to help them out .
No word was uttered as they walked together but they could now believe all that took place was real.
"Lisa.....please don't tell my parents."
She nodded. She was thinking of the perfect lie to tell to Kiara's parents especially Nathan.
Hearing thatade Kiara really grateful for having a friend like Lisa,who would stand by her at times.
"Thanks very much."She said."I hope you find someone as loyal as you."
"Now please stop that."She played."You know I don't like that."
"But Lisa,who do you think that person is?"
"I don't know."She replied."What matters is that we live our lives. After all,he doesn't know where we live."
"Yes. You're right."

At the mansion...
Nathan wondered around worried for his daughter."I hope Lisa is doing her part. She must not let anything bad happen to my girl."
With that,he called."Hello."

Lisa responded as Kiara busily looked around."Yes. I'm on it."

"Kiara is with you. Well done."At least that relieved him."Well done. We will soon have a slight talk."

"At least my Kiara is alright."Nathan said."Nothing bad will happen to her."

Somewhere in the mythical realm, where living mythical creatures roam,a kingdom at its peak and a lord to be served.
The wide hallway decorated with all sorts of dark rubies gave up a dark aura of the kingdom.
It was not just a kingdom but a home to the creatures that were unfortunately not supposed to exist on earth.
"Why are some mortals different Butler?"Ace asked as he imagined everything that happened.
"I do not know Duke."He replied."You went to see them."
He knew he would ask that."Of course. Why wouldn't I?"
Suddenly a smirk crept on his face."I have that mandate."
There was no word uttered after that. The Duke arose from his seat with a flower in his hand inhaling its succulent nectar as the butler stared, wondering what this child could be thinking.
"Sorry to ask Duke but what happened when you got there?"
"Well....."Hearing that from the butler deepened the smirk on his face."I did what I had to do."He said."I have to protect our family's name."
Upon hearing that,the butler suddenly stood quiet and hoped that was not what he had in mind. Thinking of that arose a tensed atmosphere in the room."Don't tell me you killed them."
"If I could,I would."Ace coldly replied.
"You would?"
"Well I would but I decided not to. I'm not Dagmar."He told him."I have given them sometime to think for themselves."
"You mean herself. But what are you going to do with them now that they might know something about us?"
"I will not do anything. The one I know is the one my eyes are on."He said and deeply inhaled the flower one more."And I think you know who it is."
But the butler said nothing but continued to stare at this cunning child before his eyes. It has been clear. Their mind were on the same page.
"You are like your father."He said."You do things undercovered."
"I guess I inherited it."
"I shall excuse myself then."
Gently the butler's footsteps grew narrower gradually until there was nothing to be heard but the presence of the Duke.
"We have met again Kiara. It has been a long time and I have waited long enough."
He gazed once more at the delicate flower he held before making his way to the grand hall.

At the mansion....
After those reassuring words, Nathan waited so eagerly to see Kiara.
"I cannot lose her."He told himself."I cannot."

"Please anyone help us."Nathan shouted."Doctor please save my daughter. I cannot lose any more children ."
"We are trying our best right now."He said."But the child does not want to come into the world and that might make your wife loose her life."
"Please...."Nathan cried out not believing what he just heard.
"Rest assured sir Nathan. We will save both your wife and daughter."
And with that,he left and headed to the delivery room.
"I cannot lose anymore children. Is this a curse? What sin have I committed to get such a punishment like this?"

"Please madam Tyra please push once more."The midwife said as Tyra obeyed and pushed.
She was done being childless and loosing more children. She wondered that if those innocent souls were still alive then perhaps she would have had six children.
It was too much for her. Everything...
There she pushed her last as her screams echoed the hospital with Nathan wondering and praying for the life of the child.
Finally it was heard. The cry of a baby from the delivery room Tyra was in.
With tears if joy Tyra fell back in relief as she heard her daughter's cry.
"My daughter."She said."Kiara...."
There a great smile fell on her face. She was so succumbed to the joy of having a child.
"Madam Tyra..."The midwife called as Tyra turned and noticed a pale look on her face.
"She's dead."
There and then,the joy she had carried in her heart had now been replaced with unlimited sorrow.
Her face so full of happiness was now covered in sadness.
She could not believe it for she had just heard her baby's cry.
Suddenly, Nathan came in and noticed the dreadful look on Tyra's face.
"I'm sorry Sir Nathan your daughter just died."She said."Once we took hold of her,she just stopped breathing."
"What!?"
"We're sorry sir. We know how it feels to loose a child."
"No. My little girl can't die. SHE CANNOT!"Angrily he took hold of the lifeless body and stared at her innocent face.
"Why? Why?Why!!!!"
"I'm so sorry Sir"
Be was just fed up hearing those words. How many times would he bear those words from midwives.
"Get out!"
"We must bury it."
She suggested but before she could say anything, Nathan's deadly gaze compelled her to leave.
"She's dead."Tyra said."Kiara's dead."
"Kiara....She cannot die Tyra."
"She's dead. Kiara's dead. They are all dead."She continued in a hoarse voice.
Kiara will not die and that was what Nathan assured himself of it.
With that he got out of the room with the baby.
He wondered around with people staring at him. He wouldn't care. He said. She will live. He only has to pray about it.
Finally after walking,he got to the abandoned part of the hospital. The garden of tears. The garden where people would cry for the loss of their loved one.
He then knelt down with the body in his hands and bowed.
"Why would this happen to a person like you?"A voice said and a cold atmosphere encircled the garden.
"Leave whoever you are."He said and rose his head only to see a man who looked a bit younger than him with a tall and masculine appearance and a jet black raven hair with red like eyes in a dark blue attire staring at him.
"She shouldn't have died."He said."She was so innocent."
"Leave. "Nathan warned him."You have no idea of this."
"I do. Believe me. I had lost someone dear to me."He said."And finally she's here."
"What do you want? Money?"
"Money is not my problem."He replied "I can do something about your..... daughter's death."
Nathan was puzzled upon hearing this."Leave child."
"I can bring her back."
Those words began to echoe in Nathan's mind."How?"He asked in a sarcastic tone.
"You have been praying and yet what happened? Nothing right?"He asked."Give me a chance to save you of your worry. Everything will go back to normal once she's alive. Your life will be full of happiness."
"And you think I would just believe you?"
"I do have time to prove my trust. But you are wasting time. It's been three minutes since your daughter died. If three more minutes passes,she would be dead permanently and there is nothing I can do."He told Nathan and came closer to him staring at the body."Give me the child and once she's alive here and then,you can have her. Believe me."
"And if she doesn't?"
"Well how about a game? If your daughter comes back to life,I will take her if only she's of age and if she doesn't well...you can kill me here and now and you will get away with it."
The voice and the way he said it, really meant he was serious but Nathan already knew he would win.
"Deal."
That was it. He handed the dead child to him and patiently waited.
With the body in his hands,he stood and went at a distance from Nathan.
"I will bring you here."
And with that,he bit his thumb and its blood dropped on the forehead and sank in.
"It's not yet your time dear,you are to come to your realm ."He begun." Not by the will of the heavens but by my will."
"I told you. She's dead."Nathan angrily told him and started drawing his steps towards this unknown man.
Gently,he sighed and kissed the child and waited.
"You liar!!!"
Anger boiled in his heart since he didn't believe he was deceived. No human would live after that .
He said and aimed for his head with a gun until a cry was heard..... again.
"Welcome home dear."He told it "Well you can go to your father."
With that he turned to Nathan who looked totally confused.
"Well then Nathan,I guess once she's of age I will have her "He told him."Congratulations on wife's successful delivery then."
"Who are you?"
Nathan asked as he held his precious child with tears in his eyes.
"It's not necessary."He said."I'll come again but when she's of age."
"But...."
Before he could say anything else,his child cried out and it prompted him to send her right away but he turned and saw no one present.
Quickly,he got out and headed to Tyra.

Nathan said and waited patiently for what he said to finally come to pass.
