"Good morning, young ones. Did you sleep well?"
I watch Tui enter the forest in the early hours of the morning. Maia and I woke up early after that strange conversation last night. We decided it's best not to mention anything about Keith until we reach Lacrontte and visit an oracle to get more answers.
"Today we will train separately again, so you can go back with Kael."
I nod. I look at Maia one last time before continuing on my path.
I know she's scared. She has great power that she doesn't know how to control or what its limits are.
As I walk towards where Kael is, I can't help but think back to last night's conversation with Maia. Her concern for Keith has me unsettled. I understand her desire to save him, but prophecies are not something to be taken lightly.
When I arrive, Kael is already waiting for me, sitting by the small pond from yesterday.
