All ten of them were taken aback for a moment.
"Sir Blayze, do you want to discuss business with us right now?" Quill Ravenwood asked, looking confused. The rest of the group also had puzzled expressions. They thought Blayze wanted to sign a contract with them, but the actual business might not happen right away.
"Yes, but don't worry, the amount we require will not be too much. I think you can handle it," Blayze nodded and reassured them.
He continued, "With His Majesty's grace, all our current soldiers have become Cultivators. The amount of food they consume every day is huge. Although ordinary food can no longer satisfy them but we intend to increase the quantity of the food they eat."
"Sir Blayze, you mean the Kingdom now has soldiers with Cultivation bases?" Decker Fellows asked in a trembling voice. The rest of the group also looked shocked at first, but then their expressions turned to joy. The Kingdom becoming stronger means they can better protect them and the Kingdom.
Blayze slightly nodded his head.
"So, Sir Blayze, how much food does the military currently need?" Quill asked.
Blayze continued to talk to them about the amount of food and what type of food the military currently needs. The meeting went on for about an hour and a half before Blayze and Brutus left the Agricultural Team building.
"Sir Blayze, Commander Brutus, please walk slowly. Come and visit anytime," Lazar, Quill, and the others walked them to the entrance of the Agricultural Team building and bid them farewell before heading back to the third floor.
Sitting around the conference table again, they all had relieved expressions. They suddenly realized their backs were soaked with cold sweat. Although Brutus and Blayze didn't release their auras, they were still afraid, especially Brutus, who didn't speak the whole time but had an extremely cold expression as he occasionally looked at them which send chills down their spines.
"I trust that you all will adhere to the terms of the contract honestly. If not, you'll have no one to blame but yourselves," Lazar said sternly, eyeing the group of ten.
"Don't worry, Team Leader Lazar, we will fulfill all the requirements of the contract," Hermione replied with a serious expression.
"Good to hear. I hope you keep your promise," Lazar responded.
"Do you think you can handle the amount of food the military is asking for?" Lazar inquired curiously. The quantity Blayze mentioned was staggering, leaving even Lazar speechless.
"Although it's a huge amount, I believe we can manage. We have three months to deliver it in installments, so it's doable," Hermione said with a charming chuckle.
"Yeah, Sir Blayze gave us a timeline and a plan. I think we can handle it," Quill added with a smile.
"If you handle this well, your farming business will thrive. The money you'll earn from this first deposit alone is substantial. This is a great opportunity for all of you, so make the most of it," Lazar said with a calm smile, though he felt envious inside.
Quill and the others smiled happily, excited about the deposit they received for the first month. They had never seen so much money before in lives.
The group continue to chat with Lazar, trying to impress him. They knew that building a good relationship with Lazar, as the Team Leader, would benefit their farming business in the long run. Lazar enjoyed the attention, although he maintained a calm and steady demeanor as he conversed with them.
Lazar enjoyed chatting with the group of farmers. It was nice to have the friendship of these ten people. Even though they were just farmers in the Kingdom for now, who knows what the future holds? Maybe one day he could use their help. Having more friends opens up many opportunities for survival. So, having connections with these ten people wasn't a bad idea. Plus, they were all in the Agricultural Industry, so they might need each other's help someday.
As they chatted, they all seemed relaxed, talking and laughing together.
" Team Leader Lazar, do you have any inside information you can share with us " Suddenly, Hermione asked Lazar with a charming wink.
Everyone looked at him with serious and curious expressions. After all, Lazar was the Agricultural Team Leader, and any news from the Royal Court could be beneficial for them.
Lazar was surprised at first, but then he chuckled and shook his head, " I can't reveal all the details from the Royal Court's plans, but I can only tell you that you should quickly expand the scale of your farms quickly. The changes coming in the next few months would be significant and helpful to all of you ".
The group looked disappointed that they didn't get more information, but they appreciated what Lazar shared.
" Thank You Team Leader Lazar we appreciate it " .Quill Ravenwood thanked Lazar for the hint.
All the remaining also thanked Lazar, showing their gratitude for the valuable information.

Rumble! Rumble! Rumble!
The carriage rumbled along as Quill Ravenwood sat deep in thought, his brow furrowed in contemplation. Earlier, he and his companions had left the Agricultural Team building after a lengthy discussion with Lazar. They had gained valuable hints from Lazar and were eager to return home to ponder over them.
Quill was particularly preoccupied with thoughts of the meeting with the military today and the hints shared by Lazar earlier.
"Can we hurry, Houston? I wish to reach town as soon as possible," Quill called out to the coachman as he opened the carriage curtain.
"Certainly, Master Quill," Houston promptly replied, urging the horses to pick up speed with a flick of his whip.
Quill Ravenwood resided not in the Capital City, but in a town located thousands of kilometers away. Interestingly, none of the top ten individuals lived in the Capital City; they all hailed from various towns within the Kingdom. What was even more peculiar was that each of them came from the ten remaining towns in the Kingdom, a truly unusual coincidence. Not all farmers resided in the Capital City, it seemed.
As the sun began to set, Quill arrived in Riverdell Town, where construction was underway to expand and fortify the town. The walls had been heightened and reinforced, transforming the once modest town into a grand and impressive settlement.
Riverdell Town derived its name from the nearby river that flowed through it. Quill observed the changes with a sense of awe, marveling at the town's newfound beauty and grandeur compared to its previous state just a few months prior.
The carriage continued on its way, gliding smoothly along the newly constructed road. The town was bustling with people and carriages, all moving quickly through the interconnected roads. After a short while, Quill arrived at a grand mansion with a massive iron gate. Houston, the coachman, swiftly jumped down from the carriage, opened the gate, and drove the carriage inside.
The mansion was sprawling, with winding roads leading in different directions. It was located near the center of Riverdell Town, just a few meters away from the Town Administration Hall. Quill used fifty gold coins from the hundred he won in the Farming Competition to build this impressive mansion.
Stepping out of the carriage, Quill strolled down the path towards the main building. A few moments later, Quill was seated in a large dining room filled with delicious-smelling dishes. His wife, Ursula, sat beside him, while their three children, Octavious, Kiera, and Lyra, eagerly enjoyed their meal. Their lives had changed drastically since the farming competition, earning them the envy and admiration of the townspeople.
"Dear, how did the meeting go?" Ursula inquired, curious about Quill's recent trip to the capital. Quill smiled and began recounting the details of the meeting, including their surprising partnership with the military.
Ursula was shocked to learn about the first deposit the military had paid for their first food delivery.
"What! The military paid 10,000 Gold Coins as a deposit?" Ursula exclaimed, her eyes widening in disbelief.
Yes, that's right, the military paid a 10,000 Gold Coins deposit for the first month. And this is just the beginning.
" Then if you can deliver everything within the three-month deadline, the total amount will be 30,000 Gold Coins." Ursula was left speechless by the amount of money. In her thirty years of life, she had never seen so much money. Even the hundred gold coins they received from winning the farming competition felt like a huge sum. They hadn't finished spending that money yet, and now they were going to have another 30,000 Gold Coins in three months. It felt like a dream.
Ursula took a deep breath to calm her emotions and looked at Quill, asking, "So, what are we going to do with all this money?"
Quill stopped eating and looked at his wife seriously. "After receiving the deposit from the military, I plan to expand the farm, plant different varieties of crops, and get into animal husbandry."
Ursula was surprised, but when Quill mentioned the hints given to them by Lazar, she was even more shocked.
"If this is true, then we can expand the farm and hire people to help," Ursula agreed.
Quill smiled at his wife's support and nodded. "Okay, let's eat before the food gets cold."
It wasn't just Quill who had the idea of expanding the farm after receiving the deposit from the military. All the other nine farmers who came in the top ten had the same idea. They all took this opportunity seriously and wanted to completely stand out and truly become the best farmers in the Mysthaven Kingdom.
